Derek Webb, A King and a Kingdom

I heard this song while we were still living in Durham and it really spoke to me. The chorus, in particular, helps remind me that my first allegiance as a Christian should be to Christ and not to any particular nation, political party, or even to my family. It also reminds me that there is a bond that joins me to other Christians around the world and that I have a responsibility to them...not just to my fellow Americans.
